The book Twilight by Stephanie Meyer is the first book out of a 5 book series. The book starts out, introducing the reader to the main character, Bella Swan. She is moving from Arizona, to Forks Washington to live with her father, Charlie Swan. When she meets Edward on her first day of school she is shocked by his behavior, he doesn’t look at her in class even though she sits right next to him, and he acts as if she stinks. The next few days, he doesn’t show up to school. After, he comes back to school, and his eyes change to a golden color and his behavior has changed, he introduces himself and starts conversation with her. Edward starts to be consumed by her, he follows her when she goes out with friends and saves her multiple times. Later, they become inseparable.
The Twilight series as a whole, is amazing, there are so many twists and turns that keep you on your toes. Even reading the series for a third time already, I am still just as enthusiastic about this book as I was when reading it for the first time. This series has a little bit of something for everyone, mystery, romance, drama, and even fantasy.
Many people avoid this series as it contains vampires and werewolves, but I would recommend reading this book anyway. The story is nothing like the stereotypical vampire and werewolf stories as it contains a different history and traits for each. I rate the Twilight series a 10/10. Every aspect of the story is flawless and fits perfectly with the rest of the story.
