Fashion Week Spring Haute Couture

As we start the New Year we get into a new season in the world of fashion where we will get new ideas, new looks and what we will see trending forward this year. Kicking us off in the late January we get our first fashion week of the year with spring couture 2024 Haute couture in fashion is a chance for designers to show off their artistic work and ideas to the public and fashion enthusiast , Many talked about shows and looks from Schiaparelli, Christian Dior, Giambattista Valli, Chanel, Armani Privé, Jean Paul Gaultier, Valentino, Fendi, and the most talked about show from spring haute couture 2024 Maison Margiela. Out of the 9 shows I will be going over the 3 that I would say had the most to talk about. Starting us off Schiaparelli, giving us a sci-fi “alien” couture inspired collection with a bunch of different proportions and shapes , the big inspiration of this collection was the fact that Elsa Schiaparelli's uncle Giovanni was a famed scientist and astronomer who had ground breaking studies of mars and the name Schiaparelli still resonates with scientist who have never seen work from Schiaparelli. The most talked about looks from this show was the couture robot baby from look six made up of Swarovski crystals, microchips, and other pieces of technology. Runner up to the most talked about look was look 7 with this robot dress embroidered with Swarovski crystals, electronic chips, mother boards and other sources of early 2000ths technology like calculators and a Samsung phone.
