The boy in the boat is a movie directed by George Clooney, it is about the 1936 University of Washington rowing team that competed for gold at the Summer Olympics in Berlin. This inspirational true story follows a group of underdogs at the height of the Great Depression as they are thrust into the spotlight and take on elite rivals from around the world. 58% of 152 critics' reviews are positive on the movie with an average rating of 5.8/10. The website's consensus reads: "The Boys in the Boat tells its inspirational true story with heart and solid craftsmanship, but director George Clooney's solidly traditional approach prevents it from leaving much of an impact. These statistics are from: The Boys in the Boat (film) - Wikipedia. the story is about this story is about the men. The stress in Joe’s relationship comes from the father who left him. When Joe sees him, understanding that his father has returned to Seattle but has made no effort to find him, the short scene between people who have no vocabulary for their feelings or any expression of regret or empathy gives us insight into the effort Joe must undertake to become the team member and the romantic partner he envisions. and he starts his adventure with the rowing team, I do not want to ruin the whole movie but overall, the movie was impressive in my opinion because it is based on a true story, and it was a really underrated movie to watch. I would watch it again because it was motivational too. How crazy the main characters (joe) went from poor to popular and got medal for their country. Furthermore, the movie has an idea which is something important for any movie. Lastly, in my opinion the movie is really underrated, and I highly recommend watching it.
